The Ice Hotel

 In Alta Sorrisnivan, a luxury hotel whose exterior and interior are made ​​of ice and snow, even the glasses in the bar.

The front door of Sorrisniva, Hotel Igloo Norway Alta could be perfectly camouflaged in the snowy landscape around if it was not covered with reindeer skins. Go through the door and you enter a long corridor that leads to a bar, a chapel, gallery and 30 rooms; all carved in ice.

Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel opens its doors in January of each year and melts again in the spring.

Beds made in reindeer skins are covered with cozy sleeping bags. The temperature and weather outside have little influence on the indoor climate, that constantly oscillates between -4 and -7 ° C.
